   TMR seasonal snow pack update:
Thanks go out to Kerry Beebe for the following info on the snow pack at TMR as of today

Hi Jim,
Here are a few Photos from my trip up to TMR today.

They have not plowed the access road into the property, so fortunately for me the snow had a hard enough crust on it that I was able to walk in.  The access road has between two to four feet of snow on it, the entrance to the track has about three feet of snow with the top of the gates less than a foot above the snow.  The track is just as we left it without any vandalism, but I have never seen so much snow on it at this time of year.  The pits have between two to three feet, and the snow is right up to the top of the guardrails all the way down the track.   So, its going to be awhile before we can get into the track to do any work, and I can understand why the concern about an overly warm spring, causing major flooding, because there is one heck of a lot of water up there that has to go somewhere.

  TMR 2007 SCHEDULE POSTED:
The 2007 season schedule has been finalized and posted to the schedule page. TMR has decided to run just 5 events in the 07 season but will have one race weekend set-up as a double header with one points race event on Sat and again on Sun this will ensure a 6 race season for the points calculation. Racers in the points chase will choose the best 5 races of their choice for the years total. TMR race dates were chosen with Ashcroft race dates in mind to avoid overlapping as much as possible. TMR also had to consider the West Coast Door Slammer Assn, into the schedule as we are continuing with our new DOOR SLAMMER class for 2007, thus we couldn't schedule any events on top of Missions door slammer dates. We regret over lapping on the two major car shows events in Kelowna in the 07 season but it was inevitable to get in our 5 race dates. We hope this winds up being satisfactory for all our regular racers and new comers as well

Nov 19 06
Wow what a success the TMR annual awards banquet...perhaps one of the best ever with everything from the tunes taken care of and spun by Dan Pieters from Penticton to the fine meal put on by Good Stuff Catering of Kelowna, where would one start? For starters I want to say thanks to everyone involved in setting up this years party, every year it runs smoother and smoother. The first of what we hope will be a long line of auctions was a HUGE success and we at TMR want to thank all the businesses and members that contributed to the list of 51 items for auction also to those who bid on and won the items also. A major thanks to Pete Shaw and Gerry Pieter's for their tireless effort in securing most of the items. Gerry just contacted me with the total and it stands 3400.00 and change. I have already heard rumor that items will start being collected as soon as the new year begins for next years auction.
