1. Everyone entering the Ok Motorsport Park must sign a
waiver.
2. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASHES and/or restrained (kennel or portable fenced
area) at all times. This rule is enforced
throughout the OK Motorsport Park. Failing to do so, could disqualify you
from racing for that event.
3. TRACK HOURS OF OPERATION: -Gates open Friday 3ish-10 pm, Saturday 8:00
am-10pm. Sunday 8:00 am-6pm.
4. Our insurance states “No one under the age of 16 may operate any mode of
motorized transportation”, during the course
of the race day. Also if the children of racers are caught damaging the
facility or abusing the rules, the parents will be held accountable, and as
racers could face disqualification from said event.
5. With the exception of Jr. Dragster competitors & their crew (who along
with their parents have signed a specialty waver
for the current season), no one under the age of 14 is allowed in the
staging lanes, in the prestage / burnout area, or the
starting line while vehicles are in competition.
6. Track Rules for Safety and Tech follow the NHRA RULE BOOK.
7. You cannot race a vehicle without a valid Drivers Licence.*
8. The tower is of limits to everyone, except pre-authorized personnel.*
9. Tech will be done in staging lanes 4, 5, 6 & 7.
10. Left Lane (tower) has the right of way in the shut down area.
11. Courtesy Staging is the rule.
12. Speed limits: Pit Areas - 5 MPH, Return Road - 20 MPH, First corner of
the return road. CAUTION! There could be race
cars/tow vehicles still sitting there, plus crew members. GO SLOW!!!
13. All open trailers to be parked in the Sportsman Pit, or behind the
Tower.
14. No firing of race cars between 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 8:00 a.m Sunday.
If you break this rule, it will result in immediate
race suspension for the following day. NO qualifying points will be awarded,
NO Time Onlys will be allowed.
15. The entire track & side areas are COMPLETELY OFF LIMITS from sundown
until sunrise.
16. All running vehicles must have a driver (at least 16 years of age & have
a valid Drivers Licence) behind the steering
wheel.
17. DO NOT leave your vehicle unattended once it has entered the staging
lanes. DO NOT lock the doors.
18. One support/tow vehicle, per race entry, allowed in the pit area, due to
space restrictions.
19. NO testing of trans brake in the staging lanes. To do so will result in
automatic disqualification. The vehicle must be on
jack stands, if you are testing in your pit.
20. FLUIDS - when you leave the premises you are responsible for taking
everything with you. If you are witnessed dumping
any contaminates onto the ground, your racing privileges will be suspended
for the remainder of the event in progress
and possibly longer. Containers are available from track personnel.
21. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT- everyone at a TMR event is expected at all times,
to conduct themselves in a professional
and non-disruptive manner. Any participant who 1)verbally or physically
threatens another participant or other person,
22) uses vulgar or derogatory language, when addressing track personnel or
volunteers, 3) engages in unsportsmanlike
conduct, or conduct detrimental to the sport of racing, 4) is caught using
any illegal substance or consuming alcoholic
beverages at any time during the coarse of a race day (includes downtime due
to rain delay/accident, etc. or, 5) otherwise
creates a condition or circumstance which is unsafe, unfair or out of order,
shall have violated the rules and regulations
and will be dealt with by the OASC.
23. COURTESY & RESPECT - as the evening gets later and the track quiets
down, show some respect for the racers pitted
beside you. At 11:00 pm the track lights will go off, at that time it is
expected that your music will be turned down so that
it is audible in your campsite, not the whole track.
24. Any problems, complaints, discrepancies, suggestions and/or ideas, that
do not pertain to the race day in progress, shall
be submitted to the OASC in writing. These can be left at the Tech Shack.
25. No monetary refunds. Rainchecks will be issued only when the Race
Director has officially called the race.
