Please be aware of the ruling from our insurance company that requires us to have 2 parents/or guardians sign the Special Waiver for 2007 before a minor can race, be in the pit area or the staging lanes. We are requesting that you take this time now and fill out the form, and mail it back to Thunder Mountain Raceway, PO Box 2467, Kelowna, B.C. V1X 6A5 at your earliest convenience. This form will only have to be filled out once during the race season, BUT, the minor will have to sign their Special Waiver at every event .
The area that this effects the most is the SATURDAY NIGHT “INSTANT GREEN” DRAG RACING. By making this form available months before the start of the season, we hope that word of mouth will be our most valuable tool, in preparing everyone who wishes to race at Thunder Mountain. You can be of even more assistance, by printing off forms for other parents of minors that accompany your sons and daughters to the track on a regular basis. If you do bring a minor to the facility and he/she does not have a Special Waiver signed by the parents, we will have no choice but to disallow them access to the restricted area. If the minor intends to race, it will not be possible at that event. We ask that you abide by this ruling and help us comply with the insurance requirements so that we can all dedicate the necessary time to running the track and having fun.

Note: The only exception to this rule, is if the minor has lost a parent, or he/she would be difficult to find due to a separation.
