Thunder Mountain Raceway

GENERAL RULES
Revised 2009

1. Byes will be decided in the following manner: First round by a non-biased random selection, the following rounds closest to the dial in, with the exception of Top Comp and Door slammer, where the ladder is set first round based on best qualifying ET. One bye per vehicle, per race event, this applies to ALL classes.

2. During qualifying rounds, it is suggested that all racers attempt whenever possible to alternate lanes.

3. Seasons Points earned in any class are NOT TRANSFERABLE to another class or another racer.

4. Other than Volunteer Race Personnel the tower is OFF LIMITS to all racers, unless cleared first with the Track Director. If you enter the tower and attempt to interrupt the volunteer staff, it is grounds for AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.

5. Trophies/Plaques are awarded for Winner, Runner-up and semis, depending on the class sponsorship.

6. Prize monies are paid out to the Winner and Runner Up only in Top Comp, Super Pro, Door slammer, Pro, Sportsman & Snow/Bike. King of the Hill pays Winner & Runner Up.

7. Seasons points are based on 6 races. You must be a paid O.A.S.C. member in good standing to run for points. 5 of the 6 races count towards points. Points stay with the # which belongs to the driver. This # is not transferable to another driver or to another class. You can put it on another car that will be teched in the same class, and you must make at least 1 qualifying run before eliminations. If you don’t keep the same # you lose the points already accumulated.
