Please Note
 A Staff Funding Program  has been implemented at Thunder Mountain Raceway that require all racers members and non members  to pay an additional fee to offset the cost of volunteer help and upkeep of the park. These monies are to be paid at time of racer registration at the tech shack for each event.

Thunder Mountain Raceway invites all newcomers to try their hand at organized drag racing, anyone wanting to race their car can enter into the Time Only Category for a cost of $20.00 per day. This is a very cost effective way to gain some seat time and to learn the basics of drag racing in a professional atmosphere. This does not entitle you to any prizes, points or trophies awarded in the class races.
Saturday qualifying includes a King of the Hill Race for a cost of $20.00 per car. Time Only races are designed to give everyone the chance to experience the thrill of drag racing in their own car. All vehicles must be DMV approved and pass a simple safety inspection. Drivers must posses a valid drivers license. Drivers and passengers must wear long pants and full shirts Shoes etc.( no tank tops ) Everyone is welcome. Muscle cars, imports, pickups, street rods or grocery getters. It doesn't matter what you drive. Time Only runs are held on Saturdays and Sundays mixed with our regular racing schedule .
 
Park Gates are Locked at 10:00 Pm Fri and Saturday night reopening 8am Sat & Sun
 
All Pets Will be on a Leash at all times while on Park Property
